Outdoor Arkansas Photo Essay

Petit Jean State Park, conveniently located off I-40 north of Little Rock, is located on a plateau, with gorgeous views of nearby national forest land.
Our favorite hiking trail at Petit Jean is the Bear Cave Trail which winds among giant rock formations and narrow passages.
Our boys love to climb among the rocks and hide in the caves and crevices.
We don't so much hike this trail as climb all over it!  There are plenty of spots where the kids (and us, too) can scale the giant rocks.
